REG Metals supplies Magnesite Powder (Magnesium Carbonate / MgCO₃ Powder) for refractory materials, ceramics, magnesium oxide production, foundry applications, construction materials, specialty glass, chemical processing, and industrial mineral applications.
Magnesite is a naturally occurring mineral composed primarily of magnesium carbonate (MgCO₃). It is an important raw material for producing magnesia (MgO) through calcination and is widely used throughout the refractory and ceramics industries. Depending on processing temperature, magnesite can be converted into caustic-calcined magnesia, dead-burned magnesia, and other magnesium-based materials.
REG Metals supplies Magnesite Powder in multiple MgCO₃ grades, particle-size distributions, mesh sizes, and purity levels. Natural mineral grades can contain varying amounts of calcium, silica, iron, and other mineral constituents, so chemistry should be specified according to the intended application.
Material can be supplied with Certificate of Analysis (COA), MgO/MgCO₃ content, particle-size distribution, loss on ignition (LOI), and impurity analysis as applicable.
