REG Metals supplies Magnesium Boride Evaporation Materials (MgB₂) for thin-film deposition, superconducting coatings, electronics, sensors, and advanced materials research. Magnesium diboride (MgB₂) is a ceramic/intermetallic compound known for its superconducting properties, with a critical temperature of approximately 39 K.

MgB₂ evaporation materials can be supplied as pellets, granules, pieces, tablets, chips, or custom evaporation-source shapes, depending on the deposition system and source-holder requirements. Because magnesium is volatile at elevated temperatures, deposition conditions can significantly affect film composition and stoichiometry.

For critical thin-film applications, the customer should specify the deposition technique, source geometry, Mg:B stoichiometry, purity, dimensions, and required density.
