REG Metals supplies Nickel Molybdenum Foam (Ni-Mo Foam) for hydrogen production, water electrolysis, electrocatalysis, fuel cells, battery research, catalyst supports, electrochemical systems, and advanced energy applications.
Nickel Molybdenum Foam is a porous metallic electrode material based on nickel and molybdenum, combining the three-dimensional structure and electrical conductivity of metal foam with the electrochemical characteristics of Ni-Mo materials. It is especially researched for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and alkaline water electrolysis because its porous structure can provide high accessible surface area and pathways for electrolyte and gas transport.
Ni-Mo foam may be produced as a nickel-molybdenum alloy foam or as a Ni-Mo-containing coating deposited onto a porous nickel substrate, depending on the required product and manufacturing process. Customers should specify which construction is required.
REG Metals supplies Nickel Molybdenum Foam in custom Ni/Mo compositions, porosity, PPI, thicknesses, dimensions, and surface conditions. Material characterization and Certificate of Analysis (COA) are available as applicable.
