Nimonic 80A Rod is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy known for its high-temperature strength, creep resistance, oxidation resistance, and excellent mechanical stability at elevated temperatures. The alloy is strengthened primarily through controlled additions of titanium and aluminum, which form strengthening precipitates within the nickel-based matrix.
Also known as NIMONIC® 80A Rod, Nimonic 80A Bar, Alloy 80A Rod, UNS N07080 Rod, and Nickel-Chromium Alloy 80A Rod, it is widely used for aerospace, gas turbines, high-temperature fasteners, turbine components, exhaust valves, and other demanding elevated-temperature applications.
