REG Metals supplies Niobium Zirconium Master Alloy (Nb-Zr Master Alloy) for specialty alloy production, vacuum melting, refractory metals, superalloys, aerospace materials, superconducting alloy development, nuclear research, and advanced metallurgy.

Niobium-Zirconium Master Alloy is an Nb-Zr alloy used as an alloying addition or intermediate material when controlled amounts of niobium and zirconium are required in specialty metallic systems. Using a pre-alloyed master alloy can assist with composition control and material handling during melting compared with introducing the constituent metals separately in certain processes.

Nb-Zr materials are used in vacuum metallurgy, refractory alloy development, specialty steels and alloys, high-temperature materials, and research applications. The exact role of the master alloy depends on its Nb/Zr ratio and the final alloy being produced.

REG Metals supplies Niobium Zirconium Master Alloy in custom Nb/Zr compositions, ingots, lumps, crushed pieces, granules, and other forms. Material can be supplied with Certificate of Analysis (COA), chemical composition, impurity analysis, and lot or heat traceability as applicable.
