REG Metals supplies Molybdenum Rhenium Sputtering Targets (Mo-Re Targets) for physical vapor deposition (PVD), magnetron sputtering, semiconductor research, microelectronics, superconducting thin-film research, MEMS, sensors, high-temperature coatings, and advanced materials development.

Molybdenum-rhenium is a refractory Mo-Re alloy system combining the high-temperature characteristics of molybdenum with the ductility and specialized electrical properties associated with rhenium additions. Depending on composition and processing, Mo-Re alloys can provide high melting-temperature capability, good mechanical stability, and useful electrical and superconducting characteristics at low temperatures.

Mo-Re sputtering targets can be supplied in different molybdenum-to-rhenium ratios, purities, diameters, thicknesses, shapes, and backing-plate configurations. Common compositions include Mo-41Re, Mo-44.5Re, Mo-47.5Re, Mo-50Re, and custom Mo-Re ratios, subject to manufacturing availability.

REG Metals supplies round, rectangular, planar, and custom Molybdenum Rhenium Sputtering Targets. Bonding to copper, molybdenum, or other backing plates may be available depending on target dimensions and sputtering-system requirements.
